first time posting in 3 months.
life is anything but easy, and dedicating yourself to doing something makes it much harder.
have you ever felt the feeling that something was meant for you? the feeling that every moment that passed you by was meant to happen. that all the thing you missed out on in the past was because something way way greater than you ever imagined was building up something in the near awesome future.
2011 was a rollercoaster, and for most people, rollercoasters are something that is feared until you experience it, and some wouldn’t want to ride it again after going at it one time.
and for the record, i think 2011 was the best rollercoaster ride of my life, it started with a second chance, and was followed by a string of what seemed to be scenes that came from movies, only this time, it was real, it was all real, and it was happening right in front of my eyes, and before i knew it, i was in love.
it’s so rare that you can just look into girl’s eyes and tell her that “You’re so worth it.” and mean it at the same time. i didn’t just say it, i lived following that line, yes it wasn’t easy and i couldn’t help but complain when i shouldn’t. but it was a new thing to me. getting the one thing you’ve wanted your life is a thing, trying your best to keep it is another.
if i could do this year all over again, i wouldn’t change a thing that’s for sure. for as far as i’m concerned, 2011 was a year of mixtapes and moments, and it was the best so far.
so Patty Pasion, thanks for being that best thing that happened to me, thanks for giving me a smile that wore first thing in the morning up until the moment i go to sleep, thanks for teaching me a lot of things, most of all thank you for giving me a purpose, and for teaching me how to be brave. i love you and i hope i fulfilled my promise of making 2011 an awesome year for both of us :)
